Bernama, 18 October 2013

KUALA LUMPUR, Oct 18 (Bernama) -- DanaInfra Nasional Bhd is set to offer its second issuance of DanaInfra retail sukuk, or exchange-traded bonds and sukuk (ETBS) to finance the mass rapid transit project Sungai Buloh-Kajang line.

In a statement Friday, the wholly-owned unit of Minister of Finance Inc, said the ETBS will provide more opportunities to the retail investors to diversify their investment portfolio while supporting the nation's key transport infrastructure project development.

"The retail sukuk will be offered with a nominal value of up to RM100 million and tenure of 15 years with a minimum indicative profit rate of 4.5 per cent, based on present market condition.

"However, the actual profit rate is to be announced on the opening date scheduled on Oct 24, 2012 and the offer will be opened until Nov 15, while listing and commencement of trading is expected to be on Nov 28," it said.

DanaInfra said it hoped for a promising second issuance with more participation from retail investors.
