Light Rail Transit Line 3 Project ("LRT 3 Project")

In January 2021, DanaInfra was mandated to undertake fundraising exercise to part-finance the construction of LRT 3 of up to RM7.6 billion with Government Guarantee.

As of 31 October 2025, the progress of LRT 3 Project is 99.53% with target completion date by 2025. Based on Prasarana’s Press Conference (PC) held on 10 December 2025, LRT 3 operations will not commence this year.

LRT 3 Project Financing Programme

In 2021, DanaInfra has established the LRT 3 Project Financing Programme comprised of Islamic Commercial Papers and Islamic Medium Term Notes Programme (“ICP/IMTN Programme”) of up to RM7.6 billion in nominal value and RM1.0 billion Syndicated Islamic Revolving Credit with a combined limit of up to RM7.6 billion irrevocably and unconditionally guaranteed by the Government of Malaysia.
