Launch of ETBS on Bursa Malaysia with Maiden Issuance by DanaInfra Nasional Berhad

DanaInfra had on 8 January 2013, launched its maiden Exchange Traded Bonds and Sukuk (“ETBS”) at Bursa Malaysia. The auspicious event, which was officiated by the Prime Minister, YAB Dato’ Sri Mohd Najib Tun Abdul Razak marks the first issuance of Retail Sukuk in Malaysia to be listed and traded on Bursa in Malaysia. The ETBS was an initiative by the Government of Malaysia announced in the National Budget 2013 to provide an investment opportunity and promote retail participation from the public in retail sukuk. DanaInfra issued the first ETBS of RM300.0 million on 8 February 2013.
